I'm beginning a brand new journey in my life as I'll be signing up for my first ironman (Lake Placid 2009) so I'm going nuts asking people what it's like, what they did, etc. And bottom line that I got out of it is that the training, the lifestyle change, the journey to get to race day is the tough part. If you've put in the work (and it sounds like you have), then the race itself will just happen. If you DNF, you DNF. So what. That's not important. You got to the starting line and regardless of what happens, you are at a point where you are able to do it. Does your race result change anything? nope. Enjoy it all.IronWallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00567590424815020215noreply@blogger.com
