I did it, today I became an Ironman. I had to walk a very painful 22 miles of the marathon, but it was worth it.

Very well done :-)
ReplyDeleteCongratulation Kristin, I followed you on the Ironman website during the day yesterday and I saw that you had to walk. I hope your foot feels ok today.
ReplyDeleteYou are an Ironman Kristin :)
Congrats Lazy Marathoner! I was at the water station by the library and the drum circle at mile 19. I knew you would do it, you looked strong and the time was perfect. I'm off to make sure I'm signed up for next year! I think your training observations and details were more inspirational than the race itself. The hard work you did got you to finish. You did it, you're an ironman! (as they said at the end). Congrats again. Bill

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I was following the thread on BT yesterday when I saw the post that you had been in a boot prior to IM and weren't even sure you were going to race. I had to come check out your blog after that and then tracked you as you progressed through the run. I hope you get some much needed rest and recovery now.
